Site and operator

DocsHook.com is the public brand of this website, not a confirmed registered legal-entity name. The website operator receives and handles privacy requests at [email protected].

What the site currently uses

On 30 October 2026, the six public English and Chinese Home, Guides, and About pages were checked again. They use WordPress behind Cloudflare and load a Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon. No public contact form, advertising placement, Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager tag, third-party media embed, or published article was observed on those pages. This limited check does not rule out data processing after an interaction or security challenge.

Technical data and analytics

Cloudflare and the hosting provider process request and security information, which may include IP address, requested URL, time, and browser details, to deliver and protect the site. On 30 October 2026, Cloudflare Web Analytics was enabled in a mode that excludes EU visitor data; Cloudflare says its JavaScript beacon is not injected for EU visitors in this mode. The last-24-hour RUM report also included some administrator and sign-in paths. The operator intends to retain only data needed to run the site and handle requests, but this does not mean Cloudflare or the host keeps no logs.

Cookies

No Set-Cookie header was observed in anonymous HTTP responses from the six public pages checked on 30 October 2026; this limited check does not rule out cookies after a security challenge or user interaction. WordPress uses cookies for logged-in administrators. Cloudflare may set security cookies when a protection feature is triggered, while Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as cookie-free. The WordPress comment-cookie opt-in box is enabled for future comment forms.

Contact, comments, and future features

There is no public contact form. Comments are enabled on some published articles and closed on others. Submitted comments require manual approval. A commenter is asked for a name and email; WordPress also processes the comment, IP address, browser information, and moderation status. Optional comment cookies are offered through an opt-in box. Avatar display is off. Comments and messages cannot be described as “not stored”: they must be retained at least long enough for moderation and response.

Advertising and affiliate links

No advertising placement or affiliate recommendation is documented in the current site configuration. If advertising or affiliate programs are introduced, this policy must be updated for the actual partners and technologies before activation. Google publisher requirements, where applicable, include disclosure of data use and advertising technologies. Affiliate relationships also need clear disclosure near relevant recommendations.

Rights, retention, and transfers

Send privacy requests to [email protected]. The website operator receives and handles them, including requests to access, correct, or delete information where applicable, and may contact Cloudflare or the host about data they process for this site. Cloudflare is a service provider for its own processing, not the site-wide recipient of privacy requests.
